When one believes they have "the gift of healing," and there is no authentication that this one is truly gifted in this way such as doctor's reports confirming that one did, in fact, have such an illness and was, in fact, healed for no explainable reasons, then we can only assume this one is nothing more than a "wanna-bee" on the band wagon of many "wanna-bee's" wearing the gift of healing badge not belonging to them.
However, when praying for one for healing and it is clear they are consumed with bitterness, and essentially a heart condition God wants to fix - first, and the "self-appointed" healer does not address this as a priority of healing first, they are true frauds in every sense of the word in the mix of the multitudes just like them. When the sorcerer sought out what the apostles had such as gifts and such, they did not hold back for a moment that she had a heart condition that was in the way and needed to be dealt with (Acts 8: 20-22).
God if far more concerned with the heart condition and if you claim to be a healer and are misleading those you are praying healing for that when God is ready their healing will come, and you have not clearly addressed the heart condition of one who is full of talk such as "walking with God for years," and such cheap talk heard by many of us with no substance of a transformed heart, mind and life, then you are doing a great dis service to God's Gifts and also to how they are intended to be used.
The one with a true "gift of healing" and these do exist, will always eagerly show how it has been confirmed and through coming through their church pastors as well. If your authorities cannot confirm this gift in you, and you noting this as confirmation to your gift, then we cannot agree or even support you in this way. However, if you got the real goods in this way, note it so we can test it as valid and we will gladly support you as well.
