Fake News?! Possibly, but with this individual, most likely not. This pope is a globalist, not a true Christian, and the issues of creation with the "globalists," have to be addressed least our entire existence point to a God they forcefully deny, because to accept this belief, is to acknowledge His mandates and not their own "libertarian" no-boundaries - socially or morally, kind of viewpoints.
Anyone who watched the event closely, not just daily but hourly as some of us did when he paraded for a week about a year ago now, and this televised the entire event, knows he is a messenger of some very New Age propaganda not a messenger of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Muslims preach peace, love, and good works. Mormans preach "family" good works, sweetness and so on. And the New Age metaphysical movement such as Marianne Williamson (a witch in every sense of the word if one knows what she is all about, has followed this seriously misleading force not from God) who authored "A Return To Love," loaded with twisted and mishandled bible verses to mislead the ignorant and sheepish, is much the same as what this pope demonstrated as he parade with the televised making-news about a year ago.
Not once, was "The Gospel of Jesus Christ" heard from his mouth, not once. The same is said of Mother Teresa as well. She was a "humanitarian," mentioning the name of Jesus a few times in her legacy of helping the poor, but how many do we hear about gave their lives to Christ, committed to Jesus Christ and His Gospel as a result of her humanism efforts? None.
But unfortunately, many believers who do not prioritize The Gospel of Christ as the core of who they are and what they believe and what makes Christianity what it is, would not have looked for this with the parading pope as the mark of a true believer. These kinds of believers, sheepish only, are not even clear on what The Gospel, what makes Christianity distinctly different from all other religions on the face of this earth.
If you are one who has deprioritized The Gospel of Christ in your own circle of friends, has been misled to believe The Gospel of Christ is all about love, peace, giving etc (not to minimize these virtues at all), you would not know this post contains truth than not.
If you claim to be a believer, you have to know what The Gospel of Christ is - firstly, to know that this pope missed the mark in a big way with bypassing Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and mankind's deepest need for salvation and wholeness, for redemption from a path of self-works and deceptions which have also been known as a substandard kind of life style, also known as "sin." Anything that separates from the message of "wholeness" and that "life more abundantly" that Jesus preached (1Jn. 10:10), is substandard at best and what some call "sin." Sin separates from God and the blessings he created us to enjoy, a life of "fullness" which the globalists perspective cannot ever provide.
Apart from emphasizing Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior - and this pope had lots of opportunity for this, I cannot believe this is "fake news," not for one moment.
He is a "globalist" not a true Christian, and God does say, we will know them by what the DO, say, and show. And we also know there counterfeit fruits, toxic fruits. Not all that appears as "fruitful, " are fruits of The Holy Spirit." If the message does not match, or even seriously lacks, beware !! Ignorance is dangerous, and the exposure of these things will remove the fog for true seekers of the real thing, while others have itching ears, and will always believe what is a "feel-good" message. And this, he offers.
People's identity is for what they DO not what the say alone, and when one misleads the masses in that they are a Christian and has opportunity after opportunity to preach the Gospel of Christ, why we believe in Jesus and this for His death, burial, and "bodily" resurrection from the grave which could not hold Him down, more questions are raised about who they really are, than answered.
So for me, and because I have a different viewpoint on this pope than the casual inquierer, I lean more toward this as most likely true. If someone thinks "fake news," then put some teeth in this and provide substance, as for many of us, his demonstration loud and clear that he is more New Age with his believes than a genuine Christian, is far weightier than the "fake news" viewpoint, given what he has already shown us with not Gospel of Christ when opportunity was enormous for this.
Fake News?!! Put some teeth to this and we might buy it. We cannot claim everything we don't like or want to believe as "fake news," unless it is.
