The question must be asked at the onset: What is your vision? Does your vision contain an excellence, not to say you, the leaders have arrived but just an excellence of maintaining the pure and unadulterated Word of God as much as possible. Maintaining to mean, how do you handle the knowledge you have, do you read something into chapter and verses that are not there, have no support of other verses of scripture to reinforce what you want to interject while changing what God intended specifics to say. With this, do your half-baked opinions carry more weight than Scripture - handled correctly (2Tim. 2:15).
For ever environment there is a protocol. So lets start with a prayer seeking God's Heart as to the protocol for His Church, and this begins with His Leaders. Remember, we are not our own, but we belong to another and it is His Vision that matters and how we handle what we know, what He has given us.
Father God, help us to be a body of believers who are passionate to preserve Your Truth, wise in refuting those who would oppose it, eager to encourage by sound doctrine as we know not all doctrine is "sound." Let us not be so eager to join the in-crowd that seeks to appease the "itching-ear" casual seekers of Truth, while yet understanding the times we live in need adaptability without sacrificing the Truth of Your Word
Stir up a fire in us that would never quench the spirit. Cause us to know that it is You, Lord God, who will back the diligent shepherds of Your Word with the necessary signs and wonders that will confirm and defend the blessed and glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Now lets review the protocol that is intended to produce an abundance of lushous fruit, the Fruit of The Holy Spirit. Anything less than this protocol to follow, cannot bear fruit pleasing to God. Less may well keep a church surviving and doing even lots of good works, but less cannot please God as He seeks to bless and more abundantly (Jn. 10:10). Mere survival and operating in lace - practically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually, is never God's will but a protocol in motion He has not ordained.
God's Vision, His Protocol
