What Is Behind The Counsel: "I will that all men (people) lift up holy hands without wrath or doubting?"
Lifting up hands IS NOT a Pentecostal radical entertaining kind of worship as some ultra religious believers today might still believe. This gesture is truly one of worship that demonstrates a humility and faith as we invoke God for our needs. It is a position of faith as we reach out in worship. But what is this, "holy hands without wrath and doubting?"
I value the Holy Scriptures like a treasure to unfold. They are applicable for real life matters, as well as strengthening the inner man with power. They my Bread of Life, feeding my spirit while transforming me day by day. Anyone who knew my past would hardly recognize me now. The Word of God has made me "wiser than my enemies (Ps. 119:98)" and I expect even more of the same as I continue to embrace the riches of God's Word.
